 "JUST A DREAM"

I feel like I'm asleep, when I'm clearly awake,

The sun feels like the moon, the moon comes out at day?

everything's a blur, the world is really fake,

All of this occurs when logic fades away,

This dream is very real because I can feel the pain,

my feelings may have spilled cause I can see the stains,

I'm pouring out my heart, no assistance from my brain,

My head feels like a hole or better yet a cave,

Its really really dark and very very deep,

And I am all alone, no company to keep,

Nothing but these thoughts and I don't want to think, I want to taper off, theres nowhere left to sink,

 This is not depression; this is happy me, Don't you see the smile? you notice all my teeth?/ I hope you don't worry, don't lose any sleep/ I never meant to wake you, I thought this was a dream/

As I gaze into a winter pond
At a silver-gray reflection
I wanted back the memory
Of spring, of my perfection
Before I felt the summer sun
That made silk into leather
